What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor - Full Time position at Notre Dame Health Care?
This leadership position is responsible to for the campus-wide management and oversite and management of NDHC's Housekeeping Department including the supervision and training of all staff, department scheduling. cleaning and sanitation oversite, and will serve as a member of the Facilities Department management team. The position requires daily inspections of rooms and common areas and facilitates feedback to associates on the quality of cleaning provided.

Requirements:- Minimum 5 years' experience in housekeeping and/or laundry required.
- Minimum 1-2 years supervisor experience required including department scheduling, supervision and department training/oversite experience required, preferably within an assisted living, skilled nursing, or healthcare facility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict required.
- This position is expected to work weekends if/when scheduling demands require.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Email/Outlook, scheduling sheets) required.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, linguistic, ethnic backgrounds and disabilities of staff and residents.
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Must be flexible in hours and days available to work.
