Elementary Teacher
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Location: Notre Dame Elementary School
Notre Dame Elementary School is seeking a passionate elementary teacher (PreK-3 and/or grades 4/5) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction for our elementary school students.
- Serve as a Homeroom teacher, fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the elementary school team to enhance curriculum and instruction.
- Assist with data analysis to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license for grades PreK-3 or K-8.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and effective instructional strategies.
- Experience in differentiated instruction and implementing intervention strategies.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with fellow educators and staff.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data analysis tools.
- Active practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to supporting Catholic teachings and values.
