The Enterprise Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform is a critical digital asset for orchestrating, tracking, and optimizing interactions across the institution.We are seeking a visionary Director of Enterprise CRM to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of this vital platform. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Solutions and Delivery, you will lead a dedicated team, serving as the trusted advisor for leveraging CRM technology to drive data-driven decisions and dramatically enhance engagement university-wide. This is a highly complex role that demands independent action and strategic judgment to ensure our CRM solutions are secure, stable, scalable, and aligned with Notre Dame's overarching mission. If you are a leader who understands that technology is the foundation for lasting relationships, we invite you to guide our enterprise-wide CRM journey.What You'll DoAs the Director of Enterprise CRM, you will serve as the strategic bridge between technology capabilities and institutional relationship management goals. Your leadership will focus on four core pillars:Strategic Vision and Continuous Improvement: Drive the strategic vision and continuous improvement of the Enterprise CRM platform. This includes developing long-term CRM roadmaps, implementation partner strategies, and IT strategic plans that integrate emerging technologies to anticipate and meet the University's future needs for engagement and communication.Portfolio Management and Solution Delivery : Own and oversee the portfolio of CRM projects. You will rigorously manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery. This includes providing expertise on CRM-related reporting and ensuring all solutions are secure, stable, scalable, and meet the functional needs of the end-users across campus.Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement : Establish, cultivate, and sustain key strategic relationships with University leaders and IT teams. You will serve as the trusted CRM advisor, and engage with the broader higher education IT community to integrate industry best practices into our own enterprise strategy.People Leadership and Operational Oversight: Lead, manage, and develop the Enterprise CRM team personnel, including recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining staff to build a high-performing, professional team. Additionally, you will direct the essential technical and business operations for the CRM system, including oversight of vendor management, software licensing, and budget review.We are seeking an experienced IT leader with a deep understanding of the CRM landscape and a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale systems and teams.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical discipline, OR equivalent demonstrated experience in software development or platform engineering leadership.
- Progressive experience in Information Technology, with direct people management experience leading technical staff
- Extensive knowledge of Enterprise CRM solutions and their application in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven experience in IT governance, strategic roadmapping, budget management, and successfully managing vendor relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and cultivate strategic relationships at the executive and operational levels.
- Ability to work in the United States, now or in the future, without visa sponsorship
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Technology Management).
- Experience implementing or managing a CRM in a higher education environment, with familiarity across the full constituent lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional IT strategic planning initiatives and portfolio management.
- Relevant CRM certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, PMP, ITIL).
