Reporting to the President, this role leads the orchestration of dynamic event programs and cultivates lasting community partnerships to enhance institutional recognition and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the coordination and implementation of interactive and engaging events, brand experiences and programs that excite, inform, engage and incite loyalty among the NDA community.
•Provide vision to event partners around event conceptualization to meet the strategic goals of the event.
•Partner with and support school leaders and NDA constituents on various aspects of all NDA events with a key focus on events to advance the school in the areas of parent and alumnae engagement, fundraising, enrollment and community engagement.
•Manage event budgets, keeping event partners informed of expense projections and adjustments on an ongoing basis.
•Manage effective and efficient school-wide and external events on logistical arrangements such as venue selection, on-site room selection, catering, space planning and logistics, décor, audio-visual production, photography, equipment rental, signage, and security; initiate vendor contracts for assigned events, including venue and equipment rentals, and catering.
•Identify opportunities to generate revenue through events and programs held on campus, including Weddings, Conferences, Retreats, Ceremonies, Concerts, Camps.
•Manage relationships with external clients to secure space, logistics, and contracts.
•Coordinate with the communication team on event promotion through appropriate marketing channels, print, email, web, and social media.
•Build relationships with vendors and serve as the main point of contact.
•Serve as a school-wide resource on best practices for event planning.
•Other duties as assigned
Please note: This position requires on-site attendance at all events. Many of these events are on weekday evenings, some weekends. Events take place both at Notre Dame Academy and at other venues.
Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree
•3 years of event planning experience, preferably in a school setting
•Some evening, weekend work and travel required.
•Positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude
•Creative, outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
•Excellent time management skills
