Director of AdvancementNotre Dame Academy - Hingham, a college-preparatory school educating young women in grades 6-12, is seeking a Director of Advancement with high energy, a creative spirit, and a passion for empowering young women. Notre Dame Academy is a vibrant, Catholic learning community, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Academy guides young women in their personal faith formation, challenges students to pursue academic excellence, and encourages social responsibility on behalf of global justice. Overview: The Director of Advancement at Notre Dame Academy is a member of the Presidents senior leadership team and provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Schools comprehensive Advancement program.
This includes annual giving, planned giving, alumnae engagement, parent engagement, donor relations, stewardship, advancement communications, and advancement operations. The Director oversees advancement initiatives that strengthen engagement across the school community and support the strategic priorities and the mission and hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.This role is instrumental in fostering a culture of philanthropy and building strong, lasting relationships with alumnae, parents, grandparents, trustees, and other constituents of the Academy.The Director of Advancement supervises the Advancement staff members and works closely with the President and the Senior Leadership team. The Director also partners with the Major Gift Officer to support the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major donors, helping ensure alignment between annual giving efforts, donor engagement strategies, and the development of a strong major gift pipeline. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive annual and long-range advancement strategies aligned with the Academys mission and strategic goals.Foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the Notre Dame Academy community.Participate in the overall leadership and management of the Academy as a member of the Presidents senior leadership team.Provide leadership and oversight for all advancement programs and staff.Oversee the hiring, management, professional development, and evaluation of Advancement staff.Work with Advancement staff to develop individual and departmental goals and objectives.
