Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Management Trainee located in Houston, TX. The Sales Management Trainee will support the sales team by engaging with clients, identifying business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. The role will also involve learning the fundamentals of sales and leadership development to prepare for future management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent nonprofit and telecommunications clients at community events, pop-up activations, and in-person outreach initiatives
- Conduct face-to-face customer engagement and business-to-business (B2B) relationship development
- Support client acquisition efforts while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and brand representation
- Participate in structured training focused on sales and leadership development
- Track performance metrics and contribute to achieving individual and team targets
- Progressively take on leadership responsibilities as part of the management training program
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in face-to-face settings
- Experience in team-based or goal-oriented environments (including sports/athletics) is a plus
- Ability to effectively contribute to Training programs and a willingness to develop leadership and sales expertise
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to take on challenges
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, and accountability
- Team-player mindset with solid interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in sales, leadership or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required
