Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop prints and technical drawings
- Assemble mechanical components to precise specifications
- Troubleshoot and verify proper fit, function, and alignment of assemblies
- Use measuring tools and mechanical aptitude to ensure quality craftsmanship
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support production needs by performing additional duties as assigned
- Collaborate closely with leads and other team members to meet production goals
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Indoor manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature variations
- Exposure to dust, noise, and machinery using electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical power
- Standing and walking on concrete floors for 8–10 hour shifts
- Frequent bending, stooping, crawling, reaching, and climbing
- Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs independently; team lifting required for heavier loads
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety footwear
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools, nuts, bolts, and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and apply measurements with accuracy
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and team protocols
