Duties

• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of facilities, including grounds, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and tidy environment
• Operate basic tools and equipment such as mops, brooms, pressure washers, and hand tools to perform routine tasks efficiently
• Conduct inspections using tools like ohmmeters (used to measure electrical resistance) to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly and safely
• Support the setup and breakdown of work sites for various projects or events, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks quickly and effectively while maintaining high safety standards
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors for immediate action

Experience

• Previous experience in maintenance, custodial work, or a similar hands-on role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with basic electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is advantageous but not mandatory—training will be available for those interested in developing this skill
• Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward identifying potential issues before they escalate
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
