What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Representative; Joy Creator; Crew Member position at Nothing Bundt Cakes?
Why Work at Nothing Bundt Cakes?
At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we believe in more than cake—we believe in people.
We’re a team that leads with kindness, serves with joy, and puts relationships at the center of everything we do. We’re looking for warm, caring individuals who love helping others feel special. If you enjoy making someone’s day better, one smile or sweet treat at a time, we’d love to welcome you into our bundt family—our ‘Ohana’ (Hawaiian for family).
This isn’t your typical retail or food service job. You won’t just be taking orders—you’ll be helping guests celebrate birthdays, weddings, promotions, and everyday joys. And you’ll do it in a place where your presence, your energy, and your heart really matter.
We also value balance. Our bakery operates with “life-friendly” hours:
Monday–Saturday 9am–7pm | Sundays 11am–4pm
Our Story & Impact
Since opening our doors in 2017, our team has given back over $500,000 in cake and donations to nonprofits across West Michigan. Every day, we show up not just to serve our guests, but to uplift our community and support one another as a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome every guest with genuine warmth, like a friend visiting your home
- Guide guests through their options with care, helping them find the perfect cake for their celebration
- Listen closely and offer thoughtful suggestions to create joyful, complete guest experiences
- Take phone and in-person orders with accuracy and kindness
- Keep the bakery tidy, clean, and beautiful throughout the day
- Support events and community outreach efforts with enthusiasm
- Be a positive, reliable teammate—ready to help wherever needed
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a perfect fit if:
- You have a caring heart and love being there for people
- You find joy in meaningful, everyday interactions
- You’re naturally friendly, positive, and respectful to everyone you meet
- You can multitask with grace and stay composed in a fast-paced setting
- You love working as part of a supportive, purpose-driven team
- You take pride in doing things well and paying attention to details
- You’re someone others trust to follow through and show up
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or food service is helpful—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person with the right heart.
