Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment or supplies.
• Support food service operations when applicable, including cash handling, processing transactions through POS systems, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold company standards, assist with outdoor work conditions, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Having experience in events management or hospitality environments is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with children or in family-friendly settings is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; comfortable with public speaking when needed.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, food service standards, and retail sales practices enhances your effectiveness in this role.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 16 years old or older.
• Requires a midsize SUV for transportation of event materials.
• Available weekends to fulfill community event hours.
• Willingness to work in bakery as needed and have holiday availability.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 15.0 per week
