Bake Assist

Position Summary:

The Bake Assistant supports the bakery team in producing high-quality cakes that meet Nothing Bundt Cakes’ standards for freshness, taste, and presentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting bakers with daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of cakes, including measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients
• Support bakers with daily baking schedules to ensure product availability and freshness
• Prepare cake pans, liners, and ingredients in advance of baking
• Monitor baking processes and assist with oven management as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and ingredient rotation (FIFO)
• Wash dishes, utensils, and baking equipment as needed
• Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient bakery operations
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or baking experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic understanding of food safety practices is a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced bakery setting
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability may be required
