Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Manage food service customer orders efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring sanitation and food safety compliance at all times.
• Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and balancing registers.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
• Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or food industry roles preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and transaction processing.
• Prior retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!

• Can you perform the physical requirements of this job (being on your feet for four to six hours and lifting at least 50 pounds or more) daily?
• Do you have open availability? Bakery hours: M-F: 9 AM-7 PM; Sat: 10 AM-7 PM; Sun: 12 PM-5 PM.
• Are you available to work 4-5 days a week, including weekends? You must be available for at least TWO opening and TWO closing shifts. Latest shift must starts by 3 PM.
• Can you attend mandatory meetings every 1-2 months?
