Nothing Bundt Cakes – Mechanicsville (New Bakery Opening!)
We’re opening our newest bakery in Mechanicsville and building a high-energy, high-standard team from the ground up.
This is not an average customer service role. We’re looking for people who take pride in what they do, move with urgency, and genuinely enjoy creating moments of joy for others.
What You’ll Do
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest—both in person and over the phone
- Guide guests through cake options, flavors, and designs to help them celebrate life’s moments
- Execute the Sweet Steps of Service to deliver a consistent, elevated experience
- Drive add-on sales (candles, balloons, cards, retail) to complete each celebration
- Accurately process orders using our POS system and build relationships through our Email Club
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually strong bakery at all times
- Restock retail and cake displays to keep the bakery looking full, fresh, and inviting
- Support the kitchen team with light prep, packaging, and supply organization as needed
- Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards with consistency

Skills & Qualifications
- Friendly, confident, and strong communicator
- Organized and able to multitask with attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and POS systems
- Basic math skills (handling cash and transactions)
- Able to stand for extended periods and work on your feet
- Must be 16 years or older
- Previous guest service experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- Hours fall between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend availability is strongly preferred
