Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable health educator/presenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver impactful presentations and training sessions tailored. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training programs on topics such as leadership, stress management, ethical decision-making, mental health, spiritual resilience, and team building.
- Tailor content to meet the unique needs of first responders, military personnel, and their families.
- Facilitate interactive discussions and activities that promote audience participation and critical thinking.
- Leverage personal experience as a first responder, chaplain, or military member to provide relatable examples and insights.
- Provide resources, tools, and actionable takeaways that support physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
- Stay current on relevant trends, research, and best practices in first responder and military wellness and chaplaincy support.
- Serve as a trusted representative and advocate for holistic wellness and professional development within the targeted audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of health education experience presenting on a variety of topics including stress management, self-care, mental health.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to connect authentically with various audiences.
- Experience delivering training or educational programs, ideally in high-stress or service-oriented environments.
- Knowledge of mental health, stress management, spiritual wellness, and team dynamics in first responder and military contexts.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficient in creating multimedia presentations and using tools such as PowerPoint, video, and other visual aids.
- Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification or training in counseling, coaching, or wellness-related fields.
