RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain finished goods supply plans to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans third-party manufacturers (TPMs).
- Generate Production and Purchase Orders utilizing MRP (Stock IQ) to deliver optimum level of inventory based on strategic importance
- Maintain PO’s in Source Day to manage open and released Purchase Orders.
- Report TPM performance against established performance goals
- Review capacity constraints and coordinate with TPM’s production scheduling
- Optimize inventory levels to balance service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory performance (e.g., weeks of supply, aging stock, slow movers) and take proactive action to prevent out of stocks or excess & obsolete.
- Support inventory reconciliation efforts and root cause analysis for variances.
- Lead weekly TPM production meetings to confirm scheduled production, react to demand changes, ensure business continuity resulting from possible constraints.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters in ERP (lead times, minimum order quantities, order multiples, safety stock levels) in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply planning accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Participate in IBP (Integrated Business Planning) meetings, contributing data-driven insights.
- Provide visibility to potential supply risks and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with contract manufacturing (TPM) environments and product lifecycle transitions preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related field required.
- 3 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management—preferably in CPG, cosmetics, or haircare manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems and advanced Excel or planning tools required.
