Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and food service customer order management.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation, food handling, and kitchen equipment operation to meet food safety regulations.
• Manage customer orders efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance sales performance.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including cash handling, processing cash transactions, and ensuring accurate register reconciliation.
• Lead team members by providing training on food preparation, customer service, POS systems, and safety protocols.
• Uphold health standards by practicing proper food safety management, sanitation practices, and serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments, or retail food industry roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous cashiering or cashier experience is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; previous experience in restaurant or café settings is advantageous.
