Job Summary :
Purpose Of Function
- How the job contributes to the purpose of the function: To enable business transformation and the Group Financial Controlling team leads to secure Group long-term profitability, the Financial Controlling Function provides growth and independence through financial support to the three core businesses, steering and decision support, operational Centers, and excellence and compliance. Investments.
- To lead, steer, and support overall financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and Competence Profile
- Big focus on fixed asset accounting (high on Wishlist), including backlog cleanup of fixed asset transactions, capitalizations, and assets under construction (post-Argo Live).
- Involves month-end P&L reviews and financial analysis.
Key Requirements:
- SAP experience: SAP S4 preferred; prior SAP non-S4 experience can bridge easily.
- Fixed assets: Strong background highly desired.
- Financial analysis: Excel proficiency required; SAP Cloud reporting used, no additional data mining tools.
- Experience: Senior accountant level; not strictly entry-level.

Assignments
- Job-specific key tasks and responsibilities
- Contribute to the accurate and timely execution, preparation, and submission of all financial reporting in compliance with Group frameworks and local GAAP and other (local) applicable regulations/requirements.
- Maintain and secure the right level of quality of accounting and reporting as a base for business steering and compliance.
- Review quality issues and communicate to the team and/or country group to organize remediation.
- Responsible for various types of reconciliations, analytical review, analysis, and maintaining effective internal controls.
- Review, prepare, post, and reconcile journal entries like SAREC , costs and revenues, accruals,
- intercompany charges, administrative tasks linked to treasury (cash flow), and functional adjustments.
- Secure that all relevant data is processed accurately, timely, and according to the accounting framework.
- Contribute to working with the Group and Country organization to minimize deviations from standard global frameworks for local business needs and compliance reasons, and secure effective ways of working. Participate in global projects and support local execution (as part of these projects) to simplify, harmonize, and automate financial operations and reporting
- Carry out internal and external audit-related work, yearly filings, and other compliance activities
- Support and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, and process teams within the Group.
- Maintain cross-organizational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance, and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.
- Contribute to a safe environment for co-workers, external consultants, and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies

Key previous experiences and proven skills:
- Relevant sources of Performance Indicators to contribute to the purpose of the job
- Formal education in accounting, preferably a Master's/bachelor’s degree in economics/finance/accounting.
- 5 years of increasingly responsible accounting and/or auditing experience in a similar or larger organization.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP).
- Business knowledge and cross-functional understanding of Ingka’s operations.
- Understanding the impact of company legal (GAAP, Tax, and statistical) obligations, governance, and compliance.
- Ability to communicate in English
