Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in East Point, GA, for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The CMA will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting with medical procedures, managing medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of a medical office. Daily tasks may include preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, administering vaccines and medications as directed by a provider, collecting samples and running diagnostics, and maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CMA techniques, Medical Terminology, and Medical Office practices
- Experience in Patient Care, including preparing patients, assisting with procedures, administering vaccines, and collecting/running diagnostics
- Familiarity with Medical Records management, including accurate record-keeping and adherence to privacy regulations
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical office software (Office Practicum EMR experience is a plus)
