Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and company accounting policies
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project tracking
- Support budgeting and forecasting through variance analysis and financial modeling
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures
AP, AR & Cash Management
- Support treasury activities including banking transactions
- Monitor cash flow and forecast future needs
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and supply chain teams to support production and cost optimization initiatives
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support operational decisions
- Assist with ERP enhancements, accounting system improvements, and data integrity initiatives
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses for leaders across Finance and Operations teams, among others
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting w/ 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP in a production environment.
- Experience with Epicor is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex financial topics clearly.
