JOB SUMMARY:
Norwix, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations across manufacturing, assembly, and repairs to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role leads the Assembly & Repair team, maintains strict quality standards, optimizes production workflows, and enforces safety compliance. Acting as a critical bridge between production and engineering, this individual troubleshoots technical issues, drives continuous improvement, and ensures repair deadlines are consistently met.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production & Workflow Optimization
- Oversee day-to-day operations for assembly and repair, delegating tasks according to production schedules to meet delivery targets.
Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight
- Enforce rigorous quality control protocols across raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Ensure all repairs are completed correctly and dispatched within a strict 5 working-day turn-around time.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to maintain up-to-date MPDs, test plans, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Identify and escalate recurring product issues to Engineering for root-cause analysis.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to guarantee accurate diagnostic and compliance results.
- Oversee supplier and vendor coordination to ensure incoming material meets specifications.
- Design, refine, and optimize manufacturing workflows to resolve bottlenecks, increase throughput, and minimize waste.
- Monitor key performance metrics and analyze operational trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the official secondary backup for the Purchasing Department when needed.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and build a positive, productive culture within the Assembly and Repair team.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate and present periodic reports to management summarizing efficiency, quality metrics, repair turnarounds, and delivery performance.
- Maintain complete and accurate operational records, quality audits, and paperwork in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure full adherence to safety protocols, particularly within Electrostatic Sensitive and High Voltage testing environments.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Production.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or direct team management experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on assembly experience (preferred).
- Proven experience working with test equipment, calibration, and quality management systems (QMS).
Technical & Core Competencies
- Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, process optimization methodologies, and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, MPDs, and test procedures.
- Solid computer literacy (data analysis, ERP system entry, reporting, and paperwork management).
- Excellent conflict resolution, cross-departmental collaboration, and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Environment: Combined warehouse, manufacturing floor, and office setting.
- Specialized Zones: Active work in Electrostatic Sensitive Areas and High Voltage Testing Areas.
- Physical Demands: Occasional lifting of assemblies during system builds; use of pallet jacks and ergonomic material handling tools to move supplies and modules.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
