About the Role:
As a Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all building maintenance and repair activities
- Supervising maintenance department staff
- Ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code requirements
- Coordinating inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Managing outside contractors and vendors
- Maintaining facility grounds and equipment
- Participating in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed
- Previous maintenance leadership experience required
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
