SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Supply Chain Intern will support cross-functional supply chain activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing, launch, and distribution environment. The intern will assist with data analysis, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This role reports to the Supply Chain Project Manager and is based in the Morristown, NJ office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
- In concert with head of NPL, develop a tool to measure historical forecast vs actual sales and develop a robust inventory readiness schedule for future launches.
- Work alongside each functional area within Supply Chain to learn key facets of each position (functional areas to include: Production Planning, Distribution & Logistics, Import/Export compliance, Procurement, New Product Launch)
- Support supply chain planning, procurement, and distribution/logistics teams
- Assist with launch readiness tracking, KPIs, and material availability
- Analyze inventory, demand, and supplier performance data
- Document current-state supply chain processes
- Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making
- Participate in cross-functional meetings (planning, QA, manufacturing)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED Comfortable with computers and the use of MS Office Suite programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences)
- Strong Excel skills
- Interest in pharma / regulated manufacturing
- Attention to detail and data integrity
