Responsibilities And Duties
- Responsible meal preparation and for purchasing necessary supplies and food for meal preparation in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- Operate, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment
- Complete paperwork as required according to Head Start and CACFP guidelines
- Assist in menu planning
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Food Protection Managers Certificate or working towards certificate (preferred)
- Experience in commercial food preparation (required)
- Ability to obtain SERV Safe certification (Norwescap will support cost of obtaining SERV Safe Certification)
