Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse to join our team 4 days a week. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical care in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including conducting assessments such as hearing and vision, administering treatments and immunizations, perform fingerstick blood draws and assist physicians during examinations.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Perform triage duties to assess patient needs and prioritize care accordingly.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and processing paperwork.
- Participate in vaccine supply management and lead state reporting
- Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to support efficient clinic operations.
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff to optimize patient care delivery and enhance the patient experience.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in MA. License Practical Nurse (LPN) considered with extensive pediatric experience only.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with demonstrated proficiency in patient care and clinical leadership.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge in EMR with experience with Epic preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards relevant to pediatric practice.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in patient care delivery.
