Medical Assistant | Norwell Pediatrics
Norwell Pediatrics is a small, independent pediatric practice in Norwell, Massachusetts on the South Shore. We are seeking a medical assistant to join our team. The medical assistant is central to keeping the clinical day running smoothly. Our patients are known to us as families, and our team values continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare families for visits
- Administer immunizations and point-of-care testing
- Manage vaccine inventory and storage
- Stock exam rooms and maintain supplies
- Document accurately in Epic
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic for children and parents
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Comfort working with children and their parents
- Reliability, sound judgment, and a collaborative attitude
- Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-friendly manner
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a busy office
Preferred
- Pediatric or Epic experience (training provided)
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday (four days) or Monday through Friday (five days)
- Start time of 8:00 AM, with an end time between 4:00 and 5:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
- No weekends
Compensation and Benefits
- $24-26 per hour, depending on experience
