Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency
- Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software WinOMS
- Verify insurance coverage
- Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems including eClinicalWorks, Meditech, or similar platforms in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Review documentation for accuracy, including medical history forms, treatment plans, and insurance information
- Assist with intake procedures by collecting patient information and explaining office policies clearly and courteously
- Support administrative tasks such as filing medical records, managing office supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk environment
Requirements
- Able to collect estimated co pays efficiently

- Proven experience in a dental setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Familiarity with WinOMS or similar software
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment; flexible to adapt to changing priorities
