Norwalt is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our manufacturing business. This role focuses primarily on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and maintaining organized financial records. *** PART TIME AND ONSITE ***
The position works closely with the Director of Finance and helps ensure that routine accounting processes run smoothly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices and enter bills into the accounting system
- Prepare and schedule vendor payments
- Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer invoices and record incoming payments
- Track outstanding receivables and assist with collections follow-up
- Maintain accurate customer account records
Payroll & Administrative Support
- Coordinate payroll processing and maintain payroll documentation
- Process employee expense reports
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
Accounting Support
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ensure transactions are entered accurately into the accounting system
- Support the finance team with routine accounting tasks and record keeping
- Assist with month-end closing support as needed
Qualifications
- 3–7 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing high volumes of transactions
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar ERP system preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience working in a small business or manufacturing environment is a plus
