Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role at Norwalk Dental Care in Norwalk, CT. As a Dental Hygienist, you will perform oral health assessments, cleanings, and preventative dental care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients for signs of oral diseases like periodontal disease, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and collaborating with dentists to develop patient care plans. You will also maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis techniques
- Strong understanding of Dentistry and Dental Care practices
- Knowledge in identifying and managing Periodontal Disease
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
- Current dental hygienist licensure in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental care team
- Prior experience in a dental care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of eaglesoft
Salary
- $55-$65 per Hour (Dependent on skills and proficiency)
