Purpose of Position:
Provide guidance and motivation to community members as they work toward their goals of a healthy lifestyle.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and services at the NSHC Day Shelter for community members who utilize the facility
Refer community members to services they may need and offer opportunities for social engagement
Provide outreach for Day Center availability and services
Assist community members with developing goals for a balanced and healthy lifestyle and follow-up on progress
Maintain confidentiality of community members who seek guidance
Provide presentations and education on healthy work and life balances
Contribute to the development of recovery programs
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Credentials
Recovery Coach Certification (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Use hands and arms to operate office equipment
Sit less than half the workday
Stand and/or walk more than half the workday
Bend, stretch, twist, crouch and/or reach
View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time
Use hands and arms for repetitive motion tasks
Lift or carry unaided less than 35 pounds
Push or pull using with up to moderate force
See and hear with normal acuity
Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in a standard office environment, which may include exposure to latex, biohazard or other harmful substances
No travel is required
Salary : $27 - $35
