Position Overview
Norton’s Florist is seeking a Full-Time Floral Designer to support our team during the week and on Saturdays. This role offers flexible weekday hours, with 2-3 Saturdays/Month required.
We’re a high-volume, design-driven shop looking for someone who takes pride in their work, moves with urgency, and maintains strong attention to detail.
Schedule
- Part-time with flexible weekday hours
- 2-3 Saturdays/Month are required (non-negotiable)
- Additional hours available during holidays and peak seasons
Key Responsibilities
- Design floral arrangements for daily deliveries, sympathy, and special occasions
- Follow recipes and design standards while maintaining quality and consistency
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Assist with flower processing, prep work, and general shop support
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ensure all designs meet Norton’s quality standards before delivery
Qualifications
- Floral design experience preferred (retail florist experience a plus)
- Willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic
- Must be reliable and able to consistently work Saturdays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and sense of design
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
