Education and Experience Requirements for a Direct Support Professional:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree with 1 year of related experience.
- Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
- Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
The Direct Support Professional supports individuals by promoting the individual's health, safety, and well-being. A Direct Support Professional serves as an advocate for individuals in communicating their needs and goals. The Direct Support Professional should be able to teach, redirect, coach, and provide assistance with basic ADLs and IADLs.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
