Responsibilities
The Supervisor, Clinical Pastoral Education progresses toward completion of ACPE Certified Educator and shares in administrative responsibilities of CPE and pastoral care. Contributes to the care of patients, families and staff of NHC through supervision of pastoral care and direct patient care, including on call. Completed ACPE Supervisory Education Student application (submitted to Norton Healthcare) or acceptance to ACPE as Supervisory Student or Certified Education Candidate Phase I or above.
Qualifications
Required:
- One year in pastoral care
- Four (4) units of ACPE CPE units
- Bachelor Degree
Desired:
- Three years in pastoral care and admission to ACPE Supervisory Education.
- Master Degree in Theology
- Ordination or statement of accountability (per ACPE guidelines) or, Endorsement or statement of accountability (per ACPE guidelines).
