Responsibilities
This position is responsible for over seeing the day to day operations of a physician office(s) which generrally includes a minimum of 30 FTEs and 8 or more providers. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership, management and evaluation of all office employees. Will serve as a liaison to Staff Physicians, providing feedback to the Director/System Director of Physician Services for problem solving and evaluations. The incumbent will ensure the delivery of competent and efficient patient care through appropriate coordination of practice services. Will also provide guidance in the attainment of practice goals and promote teamwork among all personnel to ensure that standards for clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance are met on an ongoing basis. The incumbent may assist in direct patient care activities, utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty.
This position will be responsible for supervising five locations while acting as a liaison between team members including 70 Medical Doctors and 45 Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and PA).
Additional job duties include but not limited to:
- Managing processes in Workday to assist with expense reports and spend authorizations for travel
- Schedule management
- Monthly contract hour reconciliation and email communication
- Weekly missing charge reconciliation report
- Assist with communication with Locum providers as well as site visits for new hire MD and APP's
- Update provider expense ledger based on contract date
- Update/notify providers per the employee grid
Qualifications
Required:
- With Required Associate Degree: Three years supervisory experience or one year's supervisory plus completion of the admin fellowship program
- Without Required Associate Degree: Five years supervisory experience or three years supervisory plus completion of the admin fellowship program
