Responsibilities
The PACS Analyst-Specialist is the most advanced position on the team and works under minimal supervision to define system scope and objectives based on application needs and follows change control processes. Demonstrates an expert level of knowledge for the supported clinical application systems including routine maintenance, problem management, troubleshooting and processes. Advises on hardware, software, and integration needs as well as coordinates the deployment of technology with other Information Systems team members, operations stakeholders, or vendors. Makes recommendations for new technology implementation to maintain the fluidity and integrity of both clinical and technical information systems. Demonstrates ability to conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and customer service. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers. Demonstrates ability to work independently in high-pressure situations while also providing guidance or coordination of other Information Systems resources, stakeholders, and vendors. Independently participates in upgrades, implementations, and enhancements that may require changes to networks, servers, software, and/or databases. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts. Responsible for quality assurance review.
The role will be expected to lead on problems and provide regular updates to leadership. Additionally, the PACS Analyst-Specialist will act as an advocate on initiatives, supporting the customer and all reasonable service expectations. Serves as a resource team members, project manager and leader on implementation, escalations, projects, maintenance and training. Serves as a liaison between vendors, business owners and internal departments. Must possess a comprehensive understanding of industry requirements and communicate business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Onsite presence as needed.
**This role offers a hybrid work option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**

- Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of relevant application support experience
