The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for independently performing, interpreting and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. Required for Medical Laboratory Technician:
- Diploma
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT license) within 9 months of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree
- One of: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Molecular Biology (MB), Specialist in Microbiology (SM), or Technologist in Microbiology (M) within 9 months of hire.
