Responsibilities
The Manager of Managed Care is responsible for overall operational effectiveness of the HB variance team. Oversees all HR responsibilities for the team. Leads all hospital JOC’s for any and all issues, concerns across the system with the payors. seeks resolution for any and all issues with the payors. Maintains and develops EPIC contract loads to maintain integrity with our negotiations and seek to find all HB variances for all payors.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads all hospital JOC; central point of contact for Norton Healthcare with all payor issues.
- Oversees all staff in HB variances/tracking and trending to find any and all variances for all HB contracts.
- Actively participates/advise in negotiations and/or discussions for all hospital negotiations.
- Responsible for overall integrity and effectiveness of HB contract loads and audits within EPIC.
Qualifications
Required:
- With a Bachelor's Degree: Three years in a healthcare setting
- Without a Bachelor's Degree: Seven years in a healthcare setting
Desired:
- Five years managed care/ revenue cycle; One year leadership
- Master Degree
