Managed Care Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision the Managed Care Price Analyst assists in furnishing health service estimates to patients. Manage incoming calls, voicemail, and email for price estimate inquiries. Contact patient’s to present information in a way that is easy for consumers to understand and use. Create common definitions and language to describe pricing information for consumers. Maintain Extensive knowledge of payor contracts and policies. Work with health plans, when needed to review patient benefits, payor policies, and state regulations Extensive knowledge of insurance plans, contract terms, renewal and end dates. Comprehension of reimbursement hierarchy, interpret contract verbiage and language intent. Comprehension of patient benefits and responsibility on various Health Insurance plans and policies. Direct patients to additional resources about financial assistance with hospital care. Will prepare and analyze price data completion for a patients price estimate based on the insurance plan. Provide price transparency to patients, track metrics for price estimations and audits for accuracy.

Qualifications

Required:

• With a Bachelor's Degree: Three years healthcare and/or call center experience
• Without a Bachelor's Degree: Seven years healthcare and/or call center experience

• One year of revenue cycle experience
