What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chargemaster Analyst, Revenue Integrity/Coding Administration position at Norton Healthcare?
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for maintaining the completeness of the Charge Description Master. Will coordinate with clinical departments to assign appropriate Billing Categories to ensure appropriate revenue allocation, as well as the assignment of the appropriate HCPCS codes, to identify supply usage. Will coordinate with Revenue Integrity Department to implement annual coding changes according to payer guidelines. Will coordinate with clinical departments, charge entry staff, finance, information services and others to provide education regarding charge capture processes, in order to ensure compliance with Federal guidelines. Creates and routinely produces reports for auditing, testing and data mining for Revenue Integrity activities. Will coordinate with MedAssets to ensure accuracy of data submitted regarding patient charges and pricing.
Qualifications
Required:
- One year revenue analysis
- Bachelor Degree
