Norton County Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN) to join our medical staff and become an integral part of our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys family medicine, continuity of care, and the variety of practicing in a rural healthcare setting.
Position Overview
The provider will provide family medicine and primary care services to patients of all ages through Norton Medical Clinic. This position will also participate in Emergency Room on-call rotations, providing an opportunity to care for a wide variety of acute and emergent conditions.
Responsibilities will include
- Providing comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients of all ages
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
- Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with patients and families
- Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Developing treatment plans and coordinating patient care
- Providing patient education and preventive healthcare
- Participating in Emergency Room on-call rotations
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in the medical staff activities of Norton County Hospital
