Position: Toddler Assistant
Requirement: Experience working with this age group - 12 months, independently walking, to 3 years of age.
Responsibilities:
- Willing to learn from the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Community with twelve toddlers.
- Open to learning about Montessori Education
- Have ability to multi-task and learn on your feet
- Able to observe other professionals and imitate their behavior
- Willing and able to work with the needs of Toddlers - this includes hygiene, meals, recess, and naptime, and being active in the indoor/outdoor environment
- Encouraging independence while maintaining safety at all times
- Willing to help keep the classroom environment clean
- Support Extended Day children from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Job Type: Monday Through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
