Primary Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will play a key role in maintaining the property’s appearance and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of all outdoor areas, from landscaping to trash removal, and support the maintenance team in keeping common areas and amenities in pristine condition. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will ensure the property remains a place resident are proud to call home.
As a Maintenance Apprentice your primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, landscaping, sidewalks, parking lots, and trash disposal areas, including pet waste and litter removal.
- Inspect and maintain outdoor equipment, structures, and amenities, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of community amenities, and ensure they are neat and orderly.
- Clean, maintain, and repair signage, pool furniture, fitness equipment, and front kick plates.
- Roll out dumpsters, manage trash removal, and organize recyclable areas.
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards or needed repairs to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist with trash removal from vacated units and notify the Service Manager of bulk pick-up needs.
- Respond to resident concerns regarding grounds and exterior areas promptly and professionally.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times, maintaining a neat, clean appearance.
- Comply with dress code and safety guidelines,
- be available to work weekends as needed.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver’s license and insurance are required.
