Primary Responsibilities:

As a Community Manager at Northwood Ravin, you lead with pride and passion, driving the success of the community through operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional experience. You bring your love for people and apartment living to work every day, overseeing all aspects of the community’s operations. Your leadership ensures the seamless execution of daily, weekly, and monthly goals across leasing and service teams while fostering a community environment that residents are proud to call home.

As a Community Manager, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead by example, embodying the core values and culture of Northwood Ravin to inspire your team.
  • Motivate and coach the team to effectively execute sales, marketing, and operational activities that achieve occupancy and retention goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where all team members are encouraged to share knowledge and grow professionally.
  • Manage the financial performance of the community by executing strategies to meet goals.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual budget, ensuring expenses are controlled and additional income opportunities are identified.
  • Review and analyze financial reports to track performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive living experience.
  • Execute resident retention strategies to foster long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle escalated resident concerns, leading resolution efforts to maintain a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee property operations, ensuring the community is maintained to high standards and all policies are effectively enforced.
  • Ensure marketing efforts, including outreach, social media, and community events, are executed consistently to boost brand awareness and occupancy.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial and operational performance reports clearly explaining trends and variances.
  • Maintain open communication with all team members to align goals and ensure smooth operations.
  • Being available to work weekends as needed.

What you bring to the role:

  • 2 years of experience as a Property/Community Manager and 4 years in Multi-Family Property Management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience creating and managing budgets to meet financial goals.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a dynamic team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to connect with residents, build meaningful relationships, and create a welcoming community.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear, effective interaction.
  • Proficiency with property management software, apps, and general computer programs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ownership mentality, taking responsibility for both property performance and team success.
  • A polished, professional appearance with the ability to represent the brand with pride.
  • Proven supervisory experience, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
  • A willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a focus on growth.
