What are the responsibilities and job description for the Northwood Local Schools - Substitute Custodian position at Northwood Local Schools?
Renhill Group is currently recruiting Substitute Custodians for Northwood Local Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
This position is on call and as needed throughout the school year.
Qualified candidates must be able to provide verifiable previous experience in cleaning/maintenance, as well as demonstrate knowledge of basic safe practices and sanitary cleaning procedures.
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Two professional references
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Dated within the past 12 months
- On file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Can be conducted by Renhill Group for one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them.
Necessary Skills/Duties:
- Physically able to bend, balance, stoop, stretch, climb, crouch, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds
- Familiar with building systems such as alarms and HVAC
- Dry mop/wash floors, clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, lockers, partitions, light fixtures, and display cases
- Ability to read MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information
- Perform minor repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance activities
