Job Summary
We are seeking a capable individual to handle a unique position at our furniture warehouse.
Northwood Outdoor sells a line of poly outdoor furniture made in local Amish shops. We collect the furniture from the shops into our warehouse. Some of the furniture ships FedEx in boxes, and some is loaded on trucks to be taken to our main location in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company truck and trailer to the shops to pick up furniture
- Deliver the furniture orders to the shops
- Print out and attach shipping labels to the boxes for shipping
- Help load trucks
- overall manage our warehouse operations
Requirements
- Comfortable pulling and backing a 16' enclosed trailer
- be physically able to lift furniture
- Be dependable, shipping must happen on time
- Be good at communicating
- Knowing how to run a skid loader would be an added bonus
- Have a clean driving record
This job is seldom a 40 hour job, most weeks its 30 hours. this would be a good fit for someone who is physically able but no longer wants to work long hours.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
