Therapist
Northwood Health Systems is seeking a full time Assertive Community Treatment Therapist to join our interdisciplinary, community-based team. This role offers a small caseload, intensive team support, and the opportunity to deliver high-impact care in real-world settings. The team works to assist clients in every aspect of their life; medication, therapy, social support, meeting basic needs, employment and housing. You will practice your clinical skills in a fast-paced, non-traditional setting! This position allows you to combine your clinical expertise with case management skills and to plan your day with ample flexibility. This program is an evidence-based treatment approach that improves outcomes for people living with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
- 2 years of experience working in behavioral health services
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling.
- Conduct evaluations, clinical assessments and referrals to appropriate services.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary ACT team.
- Complete and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation for services provided.
- Engage clients in community settings.
