Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through innovative lesson planning and classroom management. Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate professionally with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support each child's individual learning plan.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations.
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development, classroom management, and behavior management always a plus
- Proven ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working in childcare, or similar environments is preferred
Requirements:
- Must actively engage with children
- Ensure health and safety of children during program hours
- Develop positive relationships with the families that we serve
- Communicate daily with supervisors, other teachers and parents in a positive, professional manner at all times
- All other duties as needed and assigned
- Must be able to lift children from 10-40 lbs
- Complete training for self-according to the state regulations of 1% per year of time worked
- Assist in daily cleaning
