Childcare Teacher Part-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through innovative lesson planning and classroom management. Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate professionally with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support each child's individual learning plan.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations.

Skills

• Knowledge of childhood development, classroom management, and behavior management always a plus
• Proven ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
• Experience working in childcare, or similar environments is preferred

Requirements:

• Must actively engage with children
• Ensure health and safety of children during program hours
• Develop positive relationships with the families that we serve
• Communicate daily with supervisors, other teachers and parents in a positive, professional manner at all times
• All other duties as needed and assigned
• Must be able to lift children from 10-40 lbs
• Complete training for self-according to the state regulations of 1% per year of time worked
• Assist in daily cleaning

• Complete all mandated training within the center
• Complete all required paperwork before training period ends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.95 per hour
