We’re looking for a Support Advisor to join our team at Northwestern Mutual, working with Thomas W. Fishback. Tom has built his wealth management and insurance business with Northwestern Mutual for the past 15 years. What You’ll Do:
· Manage workflow and assigned tasks to ensure action items are taken to completion
· Support the lead advisor with licensed client service work for investments and insurances.
· Prepare Retirement Plans using proprietary Northwestern Mutual software
· Work with clients to complete rollover calls/paperwork, investment trade confirmations, and insurance applications.
· Preparing investment proposals and insurance illustrations
· Preparing agendas by gathering and organizing necessary details pertinent to the client work/outstanding task/action item.
· Review the client’s financial information/details to ensure information is correct for the client meeting.
· Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the privacy of client’s confidential/sensitive information
· Be a proactive, urgent, resourceful, thorough, detail oriented and a thoughtful team member.
· Be able to adjust frequently, take direction and feedback well and implement new processes when implemented.
Required Qualifications:
· Preferred licenses: SIE, Series 6 and 63 and LAH
· Experience and comfortability making phone calls or Zoom meetings with clients
· 2-4 years in a financial advisor support role or client service role within a wealth management firm, insurance company or bank
· Proficient in retirement planning software
· High sense of urgency but able to work with precision
· Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
· Organized, dependable and client focused
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Proficient in client 401k rollover calls and completing insurance applications
· Experience in confirming mutual fund trade orders with clients directly
· Experience with client service calls pertaining to licensed advisor related questions
· Experience with basic cash flow analysis for client accounts
