What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Execution Team Member position at Northwestern Mutual?
The Sales Execution Team’s role is to provide administrative and service support for life and disability
insurance in our Waterloo office. We are seeking the right candidate for our receptionist and sales execution
support role with potential for further development and promotion within the company.
Office hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00 am – 3:00 pm on Fridays. Schedule
flexibility is available for the right candidate. We are seeking 30 hours/ week but both full time and part time
applications will be considered. Starting wage is $16 dollars/ hour.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive to the office
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage daily office mail
- Maintain client reception area and conference rooms
- Enter and update client information in network database
- Create and maintain compliant client file folders
- Assist in preparation and management of agent/advisor workflow
Education and Experience Requirement

- Work one on one with agents during scheduled weekly meetings to go over workflow and assist in
backend processing for agent’s personal practice.
- Manage underwriting process which includes providing, or collaborating with others to provide:
o Pre-filling applications, Pre-checking applications for completeness and accuracy, submitting
applications, Scheduling requirements and medical exams, Monitoring of the Daily Status
Report (DSR) and take action on cases needing attention, manage delivery and reporting of
policies
- Process and manage client service requests
- Prepare and manage client communications
- Manage office and conference room schedules
- Other office projects as assigned by the office manager
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
