Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Work alongside our Director of Operations with all tasks within the department; both investment and insurance related. Many of the tasks involve working directly with clients on the phone and via email.
- Executing directives based on client needs
- Preparing applications/paperwork for both insurance and investment products
- Keep up to date on software system enhancements, new products and compliance changes/opportunities
- Participate in learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent grammar, punctuation and typing skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and assignments in a timely matter
- Confidentiality and compliance
- Welcomes and expects change and desires to work in a fast-paced, efficient and high-performing environment
- Finishes what they start, adheres to deadlines, excellent at prioritizing
- Possesses a “can do” positive attitude
- Post-secondary degree and work experience in the financial industry preferred
- Preferred licensing: Life/Health, SIE, Series 6, Series 63 or Series 7
