The Financial Planning Associate plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between insurance and investment operations, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow across both domains. This is a hybrid position in the Downtown Boston Office with the expectation of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities and Duties:·Assist in the Onboarding of New Investment and Insurance Clients: Facilitate the setup of both investment accounts and insurance policies, ensuring a smooth and efficient start for new clients.
·Handle Client Inquiries and Provide Timely Responses: Address questions and concerns related to both investment portfolios and insurance policies, delivering prompt and accurate information.
·Construct Financial Plans for High-Net-Worth Clients: Develop comprehensive financial plans that integrate investment strategies and insurance solutions tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of high-net-worth clients.
·Transact Account Deposits, Transfers, and Redemptions: Execute transactions related to both investment accounts and insurance premiums, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
·Monitor and Update Portfolio and Insurance Policy Information: Ensure timely and accurate reporting by regularly reviewing and updating data related to both investment portfolios and insurance policies.
·Insurance and Long Term Care Proposals: Prepare and present insurance and long-term care proposals that align with client financial plans and objectives.
·Applications: Manage the application process for both investment accounts and insurance policies, ensuring completeness and compliance.
·Insurance Underwriting and Service: Oversee the underwriting process and provide ongoing service for insurance policies, addressing any client needs or changes.
·Meeting Preparation: Organize and prepare materials for client meetings, ensuring all necessary information and proposals are ready for discussion.
·Contract and Licensing: Ensure all necessary contracts and licenses are up to date and compliant with regulatory standards, supporting both insurance and investment operations.
·Maintain Strong Relationships with Clients Through Effective Communication: Foster trust and loyalty by maintaining open lines of communication, providing updates, and proactively addressing any issues related to investments or insurance.
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Series 6 (Required) or Series 7 (Preferred)
· 3 Years of industry experience
· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and
· meet deadlines
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced
· environment
· Analytical as well as written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work well within a team and independently
· Current MA Life, Accident & Health Insurance License required within 3 months of hire
Compensation and Benefits:$70,000-$80,000 salary (based on experience) benefits. Benefits include 100% Single Rate Health Insurance paid by employer, 401(k) plan with match, Long and Short-Term Disability coverage, and Dental Insurance.
